Turbo-350 Question
Basically asking... will it fit?
I did a very brief search and saw people with it in their cars but I need to be sure.
The car is a 88 RS 305 L03 with a dead 700R4. Everything is stock.
I have the T-350 and just need to get the car moved 600 miles. (trailoring is sadly not an option at this short notice.. long sad story I would rather not go there)
Thanks for the help! Sorry for being noobish.

you'll need a different trans crossmember, that mounts the tq arm to the c-member and not the trans itself. sphon has a real nice adjustable tq arm, crossmember and ds loop all build into one for about 400 bucks, B&M make a relocation kit for the th-350 for 80 bucks, Jegs PN 130-30299
yes it'll fit, depending on which one you use the DS may not be the right length or it might be the right length. you need to work out the torque arm mount, either use after market or a bracket from B&M. i'm suprised you never found anything when you searched, it's been covered 1000s of times.

Like Ede said, it will fit.
B&M and Hurst sells kits to put these in for cheap money or you could get the crossmember and T/A from Spohn, this is what I just put in. Took out the B&M. If you are interested, I may be selling the B&M.
Also get a driveshaft from a third gen with a 200c tranny. This will work for the driveshaft length.

there should be two sets of holes in the subframes for the crossmember there is no need that im aware of for a different crossmember
th350 were not in only one length, and some ppl seem to ignore this or have a hard time realizing it and assume that all th350 swaps mean you have to have the 200c DS and nothing else.
all the car ones(other than some 70s big wagons) and truck ones from 69-72 were 6" tail
trucks 73-up were 9" tail
some wagons were 12" tail
if you have a the 9" tail one then you can use your current driveshaft since it wil be the same length as the 700r4
if not then trade it for a 9" tail one, or buy a th200c driveshaft, or have a longer one cut down by a local welder guy
or take a tape measure and go to junkyards and find a 3" shorter driveshaft than what you have right now
look under malibus and full size shortbed pickup trucks and k-5 blaers and novas and shortbed s-series trucks and such
i have a 6" tail one in my 82 t/a i would have used a 9" tail one if it had been a 700r4/t-5 car but they didnt have those(longer) trannies in 82
i used the B&M bracket and it works great
from 700r4 to th350 it requires both the bracket sin the kit, unlike with 200c to th350
good luck

Re: Turbo-350 Question
So did you use a relocation kit? Or did the holes just line up? I'm getting ready to do this, but I'm pushing some power and I beat it, so it needs to be sturdy.
