When I bought my car (automatic transmission) it went into all gears except park, i thought no problem, will bring it into mechanic to fix linkage. He fixes the linkage and everything works great. I drive it home and park it in the garage for winter storage. When I go to take it out this spring the shifter will not reach back to gears 1 and 2 and the car only goes forward and will NOT reverse. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE??? Can anyone help me? How can my linkage just break in storage? Thanks
