What tranny is this?
I have a stock 82 Firebird with a 2.8 auto, whats the tranny thats in the car?
I thought it was a 60 degree 700-R4..
Any help would be great, ty..

that would be the metric 200c,its similar to the th350 without the removable tailshaft,personally i would get rid of it and get a 700r4

Is the 700 r4 something that will bolt to it and a V8, cause if not, I will hold out with it till the V8 swap goes through..

yes, 200C's were 3 speed, 700R4's were OD transmissions.
