Re: transgo boost valve?

Make sure that the snap ring "is not" in there. Put the transmission in reverse, and give it gas very quickly, this should knock the valve into the pan.

Re: transgo boost valve?

well the valve didnt come out by taking out the snap ring and putting it in revers and hitting the gas.... the valve will move a tad up and then stick again... i think i am going to have to drill a hole in the middle of the valve and put a heavy duty screw in it and use a slide hammer to get it out and sinstall a new valve ill let u know

Re: transgo boost valve?

ok well i got the new boost valve and reverse valve out and I found out why it got stuck in the first place... im guessing the previous owner had some trans work done before and there is a gouge in the cylinder where the valves go... causing it to go in kind of go in crooked and NOT want to come back out... question... is that part of the trans shell or should I just start shopping for a new tranny??

Re: transgo boost valve?

The valves plug into the pump. You can buy a used pump and rebuild it, or buy a reman pump.
Sounds like you have no luck.
