axle code help ?
i just bought a disc brake rear out of a 86-88? camero to put in my 91 firebird. i`m not sure if it`s a posi ?( no tags on cover) The axle code is...
2HYC309 1.
It has the 82-88 style calipers/emerg.brake, where is the best place to get new calipers/springs etc?

The only way to know for sure what's inside is to take the cover off and look.

My Hayne's Manual shows that it is Posi out of an 86 Camaro with 3.23 gears in it.
