t56 pedal question.

I just converted my 87 gta from a t5 to a t56 and im sure this questions been asked already but i havent found it in the search. How did anyone get to fasten the t56 master cylinder rod to the 3rd gen pedals they are different and am curious as to how you did it?

Re: t56 pedal question.

Hopefully you'll find someone who was successful. I re-used the thirdgen clip and after about 3 or 4 pedel depressions, the rod popped off the pedal. So, I went and picked up a 4th gen pedal set. I just took out the existing pedals. In my opinion, it was easier to stab the T-56 into the pilot bushing by myself than it was to take these pedals out. I'm not looking forward to putting the others in tomorrow.

Good Luck!

Jason
