converter not locking up???

Well i have been working on my car for about 2 weeks and finaly got done with it today. So I go for a cruze and once it warms up im noticing the converter is not locking up. It has always locked up fine from 35mph+
Now all the sudden it isnt working????

All I found in a search was the TCC solinoid, and someone mentioned something about a switch on the brake? Witch switch would this be?
Id rather do simple things before pulling the pan and buying a solinoid.

thanks guys

The power for that circuit goes through the brake switch before reaching the transmission... switch is open with pedal depressed in order to unlock the convertor on braking. Its attached at the brake pedal bracket in the interior... If i remember correctly, the wires were pink w/black and purple?

If the switch seems to be operating, and you have voltage at the proper times your multimeter can help with testing the tcc solenoid. Measure ohms across the terminals (can be done at the connector without removing pan id think) to the solenoid. should be 30-40. Significantly more or less, probably needs replaced.
