T5 Swap Bolts

Ok, I know this has been asked alot, and its also been answered alot. Unfortunately, its been answered so many times that the bolt sizes start to blend together and I can't figure out which ones go where. Anyway....

I'm swapping to T5. I had to make a summit order for my clutch, so I picked up some bolts. Here is what I have so far:

-Flywheel Bolts - 7/16 x 1 in.
-Pressure Plate Bolts (Size Unknown, made for small block chevy)

I know I'll need something to bolt the T5 to the bellhousing. I'm guessing I can reuse my 700R4 bellhousing bolts to connect the new bellhousing to the engine.

Can somebody make me a quick list of what hardware I need to buy at the hardware store?

I have the driveshaft out and the torque arm off, the 700r4 will be coming out tomorrow.

Note that the clutch bolts ARE NOT regular bolts. They are special!!!! They have a shank behind the threaded section that acts like dowel pins to hold the clutch centered on the flywheel. If you think you'd like to continue to have feet, get the right thing!!!!

Trans to BH bolts are 10mm x about 50mm IIRC. Might be 12mm.

Yes you can use the same bolts to hold the BH to the block.

Which did you use: a pilot bearing, or a bushing?

Re: T5 Swap Bolts

My tranny to bellhousing bolts were 1/2" NC. Perhaps this was a pre metric conversion thing? Then again, they did have the M19/Torx drive thing still.

Yea, the BH to block are 3/8"NC x 1.5" IIRC. I used grade 8 bolts and hardened washers. I just replaced 'em so i'd have nice shiny ones there.

Those are the pressure plate bolts I picked up.

Thats the clutch I got. I know I went cheap... I've spent alot of money on the car so far, and frankly I'm just not that confident in my tranny swap abilities. I figure if I get everything running and working right, maybe I'll look into upgrading the clutch in the future. Anyhoo, I don't know much about clutches, so I got either a bushing or a bearing... whatever this one comes with!

So it looks like I just have to pick up trans to BH bolts today? That's some good news.

Thanks so much for your replies, I really appreciate them.
