Can this be right? TV adjustment

I found that I had not run my TV cable in the correct location when I reinstalled my engine so I re-ran it last night. Kinda figured this out when it wouldn't click at all while trying to adjust it.
In the proper location all I get is 2 clicks and the cable is really taught. Can this be right or is it still messed up somehow?
I can snap a pic of where it is if needed. It is quite far back.

Re: Can this be right? TV adjustment

I recently replaced 3 TV cables and all of them never stayed in the same spot.

As long as you adjusted it properly it does not matter how much sleeve is showing.

#1 Depress D button push sleeve all the way in, step on gas pedal.

#2 have a friend push down the gas WOT, push in the D button and push the sleeve in all the way, then let go of the button.

It just doesn't seem right. I hope it is. Wouldn't want to destroy my new tranny.

That sounds correct how do the shifts feel now?

Couldn't tell you. I'm chasing down an idling issue at the moment. Also waiting on a new caliper.
I'm not even gonna know how it's supposed to feel once I do get it on the road. I went from a stock tranny, many moons ago, to this Trans-Go rebuild w/shift kit and Edge 2800. No road time as of yet.
