B&M shift improver kit or TransGo shift kit?
How many of you have experience with either of these 2 kits, and which do you prefer? Obviously there's a bit of a price difference, the B&M shift IMPROVER kit is $39.95 at Summit Racing:

And the TransGo shift kit is $139.69 at Summit Racing:

Is the TransGo really worth the extra money, or will I see the same improvements in either one? Basically what I'm doing is just firming up my shifts, because 2nd-3rd and 3rd-OD are kind of sloppy, but I don't think they're bad enough to need a rebuild just yet. I'll probably toss a Corvette servo in there while I'm putting a kit in, but which one to choose?

Order a transgo shift kit from probuiltautomatics on the board here. Can't go wrong with that.

I think I found a good deal on the TransGo kit. I got it on ebay for $90 shipped to my house.

The kit I carry offers more than the one that you see here. It offers smooth part throttle shifts, and the shifts get firmer with more throttle. I replace the steel check ***** with the Torlon check ***** which do not damage the separator plate. Updated Viton seals for the Corvette servo. New accumulator piston, pin and seal for the 2nd accumulator, new forward accumulator piston and seal. No out dated video, larger boost valves, etc. Go to https://www.700r4l60e.com/store/prod...&cat=28&page=1

About the same as the regular TransGo Performance Shift kit. If you have not done one before, then you will need a few hours to do this right. You will need blue shop towels (no lint), inch pound torque wrench, files, hand drill, air, metric sockets, hand tools, etc.

Pro Built...
stupid question for you... ever hear of optional gears? it would be cool to choose the gear ratios... or at least have some alternatives?
I will probably purchase your transo kit, linked above... and have Desert Crank install it... I see that it has the corvette servo that everyone mentions.... my car shifts really lazily. after the other upgrades, the transgo kit must be done! bu..ut... i need a kit for my 1986 TA... please advise...

Superior or their TransGo kit IMO. B&M is a horrible approach and the result is equally bad.
