TH350 WOT First gear kickdown shifting problem.

Axle/Gears: 12 bolt 3.73's
TH350 WOT First gear kickdown shifting problem.
I have a 383 stroker with a Th350 trans with a 10" 3500 stall convertor, The tranny has been shifting fine for me with all other wot shifting and part throttle shifting, But when I am in 2nd gear and floor it it will kick down to 1st gear pull really well up to 5000rpm and then the pull on the car dies off from 5000rpm-6000rpm and then it shifts really hard into 2nd like you hit nitrous or something. My car was dynoed and it makes power all the way up to 5800rpm and in all other gears the car will pull all the way to 6000rpm. If I am already in 1st gear and floor it it does better only when it has to kickdown to first it is bad. Any advice is appreciatted. Thanks

Anyone have any ideas?? Well ended up being my valve cover on passenger side was very slightly rubbing the rocker making the knock sensor pick up knock. And now all is well.
