Moving over on the much used 4th gen rear

So I'm really just running back and forth debating what to do with my rear end. It's good the way it is, as a regular 9 bolt with my 3.27 gears. But I hate the brakes, they simply just suck.

So I'm thinking about doing the LS1 swap, but along with that I'm thinking maybe I should just get the entire rear end out of a 4th gen. I'm hoping you guys might have the answers for me as I've been searching for hours and messing with the still half broken search option.

Will a 4th gen rear bolt right up to my car, without having to modify anything?
I know it will stick out about 2 inches farther on both sides.

Also since I'll have a 4th gen rear, now my old rims won't work on the back. So I'll have to swap the fronts too...

Anyone know anything about converting the fronts to match 4th gen. And how much hassle it is to convert the fronts... And along with that I might as well convert the fronts to the same style as the rears...

Does anyone have any info on completing a swap like this?

Option 2:

Or if I skip out on changin the rear to the 4th gen... Is there another rear end that bolts in with no/minor mods and will work fine? Would have to have at least 3.73 gears with rear disks.
