Re: What transmission do I have?
The 700r4 is a 4 speed with 4th gear being the overdrive. The 350 and 400 are 3 speed with no overdrive. The 400 built correctly is bulletproof and you can add an after-market overdrive for it. Basically, you are trading new(700r4) technology for old (350/400). The 700r4 can also be built to last, they are much more expensive.
