4th gen rear end

what do i need to do to put a 4th gen rear end into my 87 camaro.

you only need the rear end and the same offset wheel as a 4th gen,you will need E-brake cables from a 90-92 disc set up,if you use an Ls1 rear you will need to fab your own e-brake set up.i used a combo of 3rd and 4th for my TA

You need a jack, pair of jackstands, sockets and ratchets (impact makes it much easier), PB blaster, 11mm wrench.

i forgot the jack and jackstands!


on a serious note please,please be carefull we lost a member of the sy/ty com.due to his syclone sliding off the stand,pay close attention to where you place the stands

thanks for the help... but also some of the rear ends come with traction control is there any way to by pass that or just up and eliminate that all together?

just leave it there and dont use it. thats what i did. just run the non traction control (3 channel) style brake lines on the rear.
