ls1 t56 adapter to 5.0 motor

i see they make a ls1 trans adapter to our motors. has anyone does this swap, it it worth it? http://www.thegearbox.org/catalog/it...17/4803441.htm

why would you adapt the ls1 type when a lt1 type bolts right up?

plus, it doesn't say bolt up the ls1 type....it says bolt up a t56. means you probably need the lt1 input to do it. the plate allows you to use the existing bell housing that you have as well as the clutch hydraulics. when most decide to go for the t56, they get everything out of the donor car except the crossmember which is not a factory piece to put a t56 into a thirdgen.

if you are going from an auto to a manual, this plate does you no good anyway since you need the bell housing and everything else.
