83 tranny help

th350 help
im going to look at 83 z28 with a 350 and turbo 350 in it. the guy has all the stuff to hook the tranny up properly except the driveshaft, but will the driveshaft need cut to fit in right.
also the car was orignally a t5 and i would like to have stick again, what would it take to build a t5 for a 350 or to make a older 4 spd work in the car, ive never messed but with manual trannys before?
