what's this plug?
Can anybody tell me what this plug is for and/or where it goes?
i found it hanging down by the transmission, i just pulled it up to the engine compartment so i could take a better picture. I'm having some shifting problems, so i'm hoping it's for the tranny. any help is appreciated.
edit: it's an '84 L69 T/A with the 4 spd auto.

it locks up the converter. at work so i can't upload a pic. i am sure someone else can. but it is easy to tell where it goes. look at about the second or third tranny pan bolt from the back on drivers side and look up. you will see the connection about 3 inches up. hope this helps will load pic later if you need it.
