700r4 to 1970 350
my 700r4 went out so i need to rebuild it... i went to go buy parts and i thought... will the 1970 350 match up to my 700r4 no problem? i am building that 350 right now in my garage and its going into the camaro inn about 2 months... so i was just wondering if the 2 will match up without any other mods... thanks a lot!

You'll need the correct flywheel for the older motor - I believe it's a 153 tooth (don't quote me) - and you'll need the correct starter for the flywheel as well. That's what what needed for my 1969 motor - I got mine complete with the right flywheel, but needed a starter for the older block to match.
