automatic 4 prong connector, what's it do?
I just changed from an auto to a T-5 in my TPI 5.0 camaro. There was a four prong electrical connector going into the side of the auto, which is now dangling under the car.
I assume two of the wires are for the backup lights. What are the other two wires for, and what do I need to do with them?
Also which wires run the backup lights, and can I get a two prong connector to go into the side of the T-5?
Thanks much.

The backup light switch on an automatic car is on the shifter. The 4 prong connector is for the torque converter clutch and the 4th gear switch for the ECM.

the reverse lights were controlled by automatic shifter itself, the wires are on the harness that connected to the shifter, I dont recall which colors.. the 4 prong connector you can just tape out of the way somewhere, it was for your converter lockup
