the tranny is messed up. LOL. sorry. My grandpa had this problem on an older chevy and he said it was the "diaphragm". Honestly best bet it to bring it to a GOOD tranny shop to get it looked or bring it to the dealer. They usually charge 40 buck to look at it but they never get it wrong.

Hey, does it park? check your cable... had a problem like that, ended up buying a new shift cable

Check the shifter cable first but if it goes into park and dosent roll but goes forward in all other positions then its likley the forward clutch is seized welded together from heat

It might say 48000, but I'm willing to bet $5 that it's got 148000. And if it's just the shift cable, it's worth $900. If it's more than the shift cable, it's worth $900. Moral? It's worth $900
