4th gen rear question

I got a 3.42 posi rear out of a 1993 z26. I was wondering how hard its gonna be to swap out my stock rear out of my 92 305 TBI auto RS for the new one. And if everything lines up perfect or not. Also does anyone have pics of this done to their car, im curious as to see how far it sticks out on each side. thanks guys

Re: 4th gen rear question

Its pretty much a direct swap. The control arms, torque arm, shocks all mount up exactly the same. The ebrake takes some doing, you need to figure out which cable you need. It sticks out appx
2 inches farther than the stock thirdgen one.
In my sig, my car has a 00 Camaro rear, no spacers with 17x9 WS6 TA wheels.

Re: 4th gen rear question

thats what i figured, the only other thing i was wondering about its the drum brake to disc brake swap. what do i need to change to do that. Im pretty sure i know but just need to check. Also does any on have pics of the swap from the rear so i can see the distance the tires stick out.

Re: 4th gen rear question

I got a 91-92 1LE pro valve for the drum to disk conversion. I have an automatic, so I'm just waiting for some e brake cables to get manufactured, until then, no e brake.
