maybe still something in the clutch assy?
maybe a faulty master cylinder for the clutch assy?
Faulty master would show up if the fork was not traveling enough. You checked that, no?

I think the input shaft on the transmission is wiped out. You used a pilot BEARING this time, not a bushing right?

i checked the travel on the clutch fork, but im not 100% sure i know the correct travel length...it still seems like a disengagment problem

yes, i got a pilot bearing in there, not a pilot bushing
eh, idk. the input shaft looks in very good condition

Re: 89 hydraulic clutch

alright, so i got a new master/slave cylinder clutch set up because myold master was leaking and im still having the same problem....it somewhat goes into the gears, but the tires constantly spin with the pedal fully depressed

correct me if im wrong, but dont i use dot3 brake fluid for the hydraulic clutch?

Re: 89 hydraulic clutch

i was also thinking this could be my problem:

also, if the master cylinder has a little leak, is it done for? i had to jiggle around the master cyliner rod to move it out of the way and a little fluid came out....but then it stopped once the rod was straight
