4th gen 10 bolt

Im sure i could find this if i had the time too search all the pages so sorry if anyone has too repeat info. The 4th gen 10 bolts are direct bolt-in's correct? There about 2 inches longer on each side?? My main concern is backspacing and wheels ill be running my stock 15" rallys for awhile and i dont want them sticking out past the fender lip is there anyway too get around this? are will it not be a problem? and when i upgrade too 17x9.5 on the rear will they bolt in without spacers?? rims will probably be c5 vette rims im not sure of the back spacing on them off the top of my mind any info would be great.

Re: 4th gen 10 bolt

I'm running a 4th gen 10 bolt (98 to be exact) and I'm running the stock 16's on it and with 245/50's, the outer edge of the sidewall comes almost flush with the outer lip of the fender well. Depending on how stiff your shocks are, you shouldn't have any problems. If you're lowered or have soft shocks, you may have some rubbing.

They are bolt-ins yes, but there are little thing that need to be done. Depending on what year your car is and what year the axle is, there are little things that need to be changed. Brake lines for one (at least I had to to put in a 98+ axle). Parking brake cables were different for me too. Depending on what year your third gen is, a different proportioning valve may be needed as well (91-92 I know did not require a swap for rear disk).

When it comes to wheels, C5 rims work, though with the 18" rears, I need to run a 1/4" spacer minimum...and the tires still rub under hard cornering (yes, all my suspension is after market).
