tranny rebuild need advice

well im going to get my tranny rebuilt

unfortunately its on a budget

and unfortunately i cant afford the probuilt kit and the labor of the rebuild

so next best thing for my stock 350 89 rs

is

http://www.bulkpart.com/Merchant2/me...roduct_Count=6

has any one used this rebuild kit ?

i herd to stay away from b&m so i will thanks to failures of others.

should i install the corvette servo? i herd it produces hard second shifts that can produces immature wear. and make things worse but i dont know,?

input much appreciated.

Re: tranny rebuild need advice

Yes it is perfectly fine.

You probably DO want to use the Corvette servo. Virtually every high-perf builder uses it. It helps make the transimssion last longer by applying the band tighter. There are other ways of making sure the shift timing isn't set on "kill".

Get the ATSG manual, which they also carry. Unbelievably useful pile of info.
