The Hurst aluminum T handle is to cool / cold. Like holding onto a block of ice. Gonna hafta re-think that one. I did some quick searching but didn't find anything.
No one makes a nice leather one or other that isn't so fridged?

If you still have the factory shifter, and don't mind a round **** instead of the T handle, just get a factory GM leather ****. Modern Day Muscle, a sponsor here on the site, sells them for a reasonable price. I used to have the Hurst T handle in my 69 Camaro, and I agree that they get pretty damn cold. However, I switched to the round, solid chrome ****, so it's still just as cold. Luckily I only drive that car in the summer.

i don't mind the cold of the shifter ****. the only thing i don't like about my megashifter is the heat in the summer. the sun comes in through the windsheild, heats it up and almost burns me when i leave work....lol.

Get it powdercoated. Its a thick coating, and it does help. It also won't get so insanely hot in the summer that way.
