what do you mean by smoothly? the megashifters are known for being rough coming out of park(i kinda like it that way). after that, there is gonna be a detent of sorts for all the gears. after you get to D, then it ratchets between all the gears up till reverse.

Really? i have been messing with this damn thing all day thinking something was wrong with it, just thought it shouldnt be like that, thank you for your help
Re: B&M megashifter problems
It will get better as the shifter wears a little.
As was previously stated, this is more of a design feature/defect of the Megashifter. I am sure a crafty person could modify the detent mechanism to make it a bit more reasonable to pull the shifter out of park.

Can it be a sign that there is somthing wrong with the cable? There are no kinks in it and i installed it twice, to make sure it was on properly. I just dont want anything getting damaged cause any small install mistake

nah, don't sweat it. it will ease up after a while. the muscles in your arm will get accustomed to it like the difference between manual and power steering.
if you try to decrease the tension on the lever that provides the detent, it will also decrease the tension on the other positions.
