centerforce clutch issues

centerforce clutch issues

I have an 87 iroc with a ceterforce clutch with maybe 10k on it. I was speed shifting it went to hit 4th and it wouldnt go in i got it and 5th and got home. I now have no clutch it will not disengage the slave seems to be working from what i can see but when i pump the pedal i can shift threw gears with the car running on jackstands.any help will help

Slave seems to be pushing the distance it needs to but if i was to start car in 1st with clutch fully depressed it would act as i did not have the clutch in making me skip foward.

It's probably not the clutch, but the throwout arm or pivot, or possibly the throwout bearing. Start by unbolting your slave cyl, removing the rubber boot on the bellhousing, and fiddling with the arm, and see if you can figure anything out. If you were powershifting a T-5, you may have more than one problem, but the car should still start with the clutch pedal pushed.
