Nuetral Saftey Switch?

Hey guys,

I've searched a little on this, I recently converted my car from auto to T-56 and all is great. I don't have the nuetral saftey switch though. Can anyone tell me where to get one and how to wire it up on my car? Also, how much for the part?

With the T-56/T-5 there is no NSS. They make you push the clutch in instead. I can't really help with the rest though, sorry

This is the switch you need. You can get it at advance auto parts or auto zone.

You have to extend the wires that run from the automatic shifter wire harnes to the clutch switch that attaches to your clutch pedal. It should be the two largest size wires on that shifter wire harness.

Re: Nuetral Saftey Switch?

Thanks Mike. Do I need a harness to connect it with? Or do I just use connectors to the switch that I can buy anywhere?

Re: Nuetral Saftey Switch?

There is a special harness/connector that you can buy but it is like 15 or 20 dollars. I just attached two spade female terminals to the wires that I extended from the factory harness and then just plugged them into the switch. Worked great and only cost a couple dollars. You can pick up a pack of connectors at most any hardware store.
