T56 Clutch question

i think i might have intsalled my clutch disc backwords.

when you set the clutch against the flywheel and bolt the pressure plate down, which way to you put the disc in? with the spring assemblys down in the flywheel? or the spring assemblys out toward the pressure plate?

if anyone has pictures of this please, they would be alot of help.

Re: T56 Clutch question

there should be a sticker or some writing on the clutch disk that says which way to put it. i have a centerforce df clutch(sitting on the floor in my garage right now) and when bolted down, the spring assembly is towards the flywheel side.

Re: T56 Clutch question

If you have T-56 factory type clutch the springs go in to the flywheel.
