Transmission cooler install .. issues..asap!
Bought the B&M SuperCooler, the 70268 model. I need to install it by completely bypassing the stock radiator oil cooler (the bottom inlet/outlet threads are badly damaged, so yes it LEAKS !!!)
What are the fittings one needs on the transmission side ? 5/16 inverted flare ? Are there going to be different ones w different threads ?
Also not sure how to do the rest because I don't know whether the B&M cooler uses 5/16 or 3/8 rubber hose?
(Engine is now running, just need to adjust rockers, due to clicking noise, but the leaking transmission cooler/lines prevent me from driving the car)

The fittings on the transmission side are 5/16" inverted flare. The B&M cooler probably uses some size of pipe thread.

What are the threads ?
This came up as a listing
http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductD...tNumber=240390
But I felt I should check with you guys instead, considering Kragen claims they don't carry a fan relay, but they do carry the fuel pump relay (same relay, same part number hahahaha)

The threads on a 5/16-IF tube nut are 1/2-20, IIRC.

awesome .... so.... to go 3/8 all the way I'd have to get 1/2-20 fittings for 3/8 hose, to go on the transmission side
