I recently put a 454 c.i motor in my 90 camaro th400 transmision i bought a spohn crossmember with the bracket to install the spohn torque arm. I was wondering if theres a way to run that stock torque arm to the mount that is on the crossmember. The motor is not much over stock probly pushing around 300 horse. any sugestions?

 

No you need the spohn tq arm.

Just wondering if your BBC is only 300 hp, why bother with the swap?

 

I bought the camaro for $400 with a bad motor and had the big block laying around

 

I dont see why its not possible to just bolt the stock torque arm to the mount on the spohn crossmember

 

They are not in the same location. You could probably rig something up, but you will probably get some suspension bind.
