Transmission: Goodfella's 700R4 "enforcer"
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt w/4.11s on order
how much power
hey everybody, im new here but anyway gotta trans question.
Im puttin in a nice stroked 406 in my ride and wanted to know how much power a 700R4 can handle? Ive heard i'll probably tear it up runnin 500+ hp.
any answers?

whats a stroked 406?
a stock 700 will hold about 300 ft/lbs, aftermarket ones can be built to accommodate much more, expect to drop at least 2k, unless you can build it yourself and save on labor

a chevy small block 400 stroked to a 406

a 400 with an OVERBORE or .030 is a 406, no change in stroke.

but if it got a diff crank dont that change the stroke?
