Help Identify This Part.
Hey, so basically I bought this car for really really cheap, in turn everything was back yard mechanic'd on it.
TH-350 tranny (bolted to a 350, if that matters), what vacuum line goes here?
(I assumed it was a vacuum line).

Are you talking about the red thing?
Not a vacuum line place.
Looks to me like the speedo gear, and the "sleeve" for the cable is missing.
The vacuum line goes on the round canister on the opposite side of the trans, in the bottom right corner of your pic, buried in all that schmutz.
