700r4 suburban tranny differences?
Hey i might pick up a 700r4 tranny from a suburban a friend owes me a favor and knows i need a new tranny for my iroc project. Its a gm reman motor with only 15K on it. Is there any differneces between the 700r4 in the trucks then the camaros. Thanks

What year suburban is the tranny from? Other than the 4WD issue, and the tailshaft needing to be changed for the torque arm, they're the same.

i believe its out of an 80's ish i'm not quite sure but i know it was 2wd. Thanks tho thats all i basically needed to know. wasn't sure if anything internally was different

Just like Kevin said. Just the tailshaft needs to be changed.
