700r4 leaking

well we finished getting the engine and tranny back in but now i have a nice little leak right above my passenger side header. i have a feeling its a crack in one of the tranny lines cause the lines got bent a little when pulling it out and bent back when we dropped it back in. anyone know where to get new lines or am i gonna have to make my own?

you can find s.s. lines or even chrome aftermarket lines. i bend and flair my own lines.

Re: 700r4 leaking

Well found the problem. a buddy of mine was helping with the install and changed the filter and gasket on the tranny. turns out he didnt retorque the pan bolts or really put them in at all. when i tightend them down i could see the gasket compress and the fluid get pushed out. there was even one bolt that was hanging half way out and the rest had a good 2-3 full turns to tighten them all the way. now just need to refill it and finish all the wiring.
