what kind of rear is this called?

This Probably answers my previous Post to why the rear moans.. My neighbor watched one wheel roast and the other one slowly turn..so this is a Limited slip, or a Burnt out rear one hole shot away
from taking a dirt nap?.. I want to get a new rear where BOTh tires always spin. I am In summit racing right now, which one is a dent one that is good on accel ( and fuel)

Could be an open diff, could be a worn out posi. Pull the cover and look inside.

Both tires do not always spin. It works when one tire losses traction and it shift traction to that wheel.
