9" your opinions?
well I think I know what I wanna do for a good rear...
I found the 9" housing with axles from spohn:
http://www.spohn.net/?action=product&pid=1533
Im thinking buy that, then find a used pumpkin to put in it for cheap.
Any ideas and also what else would i need to do this...and will my factory brakes work?

its says right under the brake option tab that the factory drum brakes won't work. Also don't forget to get the correct axles if you decide to build the assembly yourself

go either with the moser from Spohn with axles or there is this place from Ebay. I really haven't heard much good or bad about them but they look pretty good and I kinda like the torque arm mount better. but you would have to get an adapter plate for the brakes unless they could have the right pattern put on instead of the big bearing ford ends? not sure cost is about the same because of this.

that one comes with the correct length moser axles. either way get the housing and axles as a package so you know they are correct verify anyway though. and get a nodular center section. as far as brakes it just depends on what size tire you are using but I would go with the ls1 brakes on the rear if your not running a 16" tire go with lt1 I am pretty sure they will fit in the rear with 15's

mosers is better than the ebay place, they use remanned center housings and only 1 style housing end. Just get the moser piece, you will be happy you did.

that's what I was kinda thinking too just because of the ends, the reman center section really isn't a big deal. with either one the main thing to worry about is the welds on everything. I would go with the moser housing though so that way ls1 or lt1 brakes are a direct bolt on. the ebay one is setup for explorer brakes definitely not the best choice.

that's kinda what I thought but they said it doesn't but then again they are selling them. looks pretty beefy though. I would do the lt1 brakes or swap some third gen disc but the lt1 stuff is easy to find.

Re: 9" your opinions?
that torque arm bracket on the ebay one MUST eat the floor. the moser on will sometimes require some hammering and its much lower than that
