I have an 84 set up for a cable speedo, I'm converted the dash to autometer gauges and want to put in an electric VSS. Do I just swap the sensors? Does the electronic VSS use the ring that the cable gear hooks into for a signal or is there a different ring on the tailshaft? Electronic is cool, but not cool enough to take my tranny apart!!

Please advise!
