I have a 87 iroc and iam getting sound that i can not pinpoint. it sound like a backing plate rubbing,the sound is comming from the center to the rear of the drive shaft.at first i thought it was the rear so i put in a different one and had the same sound, changed the u joints,but same sound.iam told to change the drive shaft,or trans pump. has anybody had this problem or heard of it.
