700r4. What is this?
700r4. What is this?
Let me describe:
If you are looking at a 700r4 on the side where the TV cable connects, just below that there are 2 outlets that usually have bolts in them. Can anyone tell me what they are for? Are they for an external cooler or something? They take special bolts that have threads just a bit under the cap and then smooth the rest of the way. I just bought this tranny and noticed that I only have 1 bolt the other is plugged with a plastic cap and I don't know where to begin looking for this bolt. If I cannot find those bolts do you think just using regular bolts with sealant would work? I am not sure if this is under alot of pressure.
Sorry for no picture and thanks for your help.

they are probably the cooler lines, you NEED to run a cooler period.

Those are pressure taps, they were only on 89 and older models
