I have a 82 firebird pullled emissions, carb, distributer - I recently purchased a 700r4 out of a 87 firebird i got the crossmember driveshaft even the posi rear end - from what i hear i am going to have to fab the crossmember? anyone know if driveshaft will work? is the 700r4 with 2.73 gears in rear end going require to much power for my 305? i have the 200 3 speed now also just have one wheel wonder - not sure of gears - i was told 3.08? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
