ok so 2nd gear is **** in my 91 gta, should i take it out and try to rebuild the tranny, i can put it in 2nd and when i let the clutch out it pops out, then just grinds all to hell, but every other gear works, including reverse, i mean i can get a t5 local but idk, i think the synchros are bad, but some *** at a shop said 700 to redo only 2nd gear, the synchros and the friction rings. i told him to get bent.

also what are the gear ratio's for t5's out of turbo coops, i have the normal t5's gear ratios looked it up on the blueprint at work, ( i work for gm partech i have access to those blueprints but not fords)

what do yall think i should do?
