Master cylinder to Slave cylinder hose source

I need the hose that runs from the clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder. Right now, the previous owner was running a rubber hydraulic hose with hose clamps-- not the best setup. I don't know why that was done, possibly to clear the mid-length headers the car has. I have seen the braided stainless steel lines on 4th gens, and I went to the junkyard for one, but they would only sell the whole master/slave setup for $80.
I have seen the fitting that these cylinders use on other cars before; I used to have a '94 Ford F350 that had a hydraulic clutch like this one. The fitting is the same, with that weird 4 sided O-ring.
Oh, and I tried the dealer, and they said that the slave/master setup was discontinued.
So is there any new source for a hose that I can use? Even if it's for a different vehicle?
Thank you!

I once bought some of that braided steel line and used it with some hose clamps, worked fine. The hydraulic hose you took off is good stuff to not sure why you want to change it?
