was driving home on highway and 5th gear went out i can slip it in and out without the clutch and it doesnt engage...4 feels a tade rough now that 5th is gone...if im not mistaken its the synchronizers am i right??? if so where the heck can i get them ive called all the parts stores check all websites i know and cant find them...i also know i need a new pilot and throw out bearing...but those i can get its the scyros that i cant find anywhere help me out and correct me if im wrong on diagnoses and give me any info you can on how to fix the problem...plz help

not alot of places sell internal trans parts. if you feel up to changing the syncros yourself then call a trans show and see if they will sell u the kit, if not call another eventually u will find one shop that does. I actually think there is atleast one guy who i see posting in this section alot who owns a shop that might sell u the parts

 

i got a second opinion on it...possibly the gear is gone or the fork broke...is there any other transmissions manual that are a direct fit in for a temporary use until i can either fix this p.o.s. t5 or some how come up with the money to get a 6 speed

 

outlaw, where are you located? i know where to get parts if you can rebuild.
