noise and vibration b/w engine and tranny

hey all... got a vibration and noise issue b/w the engine and transmission.. i don't believe its the tc as i just did a fluid change and other than the fluid being fairly old, it was clear of debris and there were no chunks on the magnet. is it possible the flexplate is starting to break? is there an easy way to pull it, or do i have to drop the tranny back to get it out?

I've heard you can disconnect the TC from the flexplate and push the TC back into the tranny far enough to get at the crank bolts. I've never tried it. At least you will be able to get a decent look at the flexplate.

really? that would be excellent... if i could get the plate off without having to go through all the grief of unbolting the bellhousing and sliding the tranny back i would be a happy guy... those top bolts are hell to get to on your back under the car
