Line press fluctuating 700r4

Connected a line press gauge to port just above the shift shaft. At idle and when driving at low throttle settings, the press is steady, as I start opening the throttle, the needle on the press gauge rises (which would be normal) and starts fluctuating rapidly abt 20-30 psi. At first, I thought there was still air in sys (fresh rebuild), but it doesn't seem to be getting any more stable as time goes on. It drives and shifts just fine.

Is this normal?
Has anyone driven around with a press gauge connected and noticed the same issue?

Has anyone driven around with a line pressure gauge connected and saw steady readings?

As the rpm rises past 2,500 rpm it should stabilize. What are you seeing at the higher rpm's?
