I am having transmission issues that I am hoping someone can help me with. My issue is that my 700r4 only has park and drive. That's it. No neutra, no reverse, no 1,2,3. And even in park the car lurches a bit and feels like the car is powerbraking. I checked the linkage when the car is off and the car goes into reverse and nuetral, so I know it's internal. To me it seems like a valvebody issue, the fluid is being directed to areas it shouldn't IE two places at the same time. I was also thinking it might be the front clutch in the tranny because I don't have reverse, but that doesn't explain why I don't have nuetral either. IF anybody has any suggestions please let me know.

Sounds like your forward clutch is seized, They get really hot and literally melt together thats why you have forward in all gears except reverse then your actually in two gears forward and reverse at the same time, Time for a trans or trans rebuild
