hey im looking for a bellhousing for my 85 firebird v6 5 speed what will fit & where can i find one that will not kill my bank

 

You'll need one for a Camaro/Firebird with the same engine (V8 used a different bellhousing with a different bolt pattern, you can't use it).

Best bet is a used one from an auto wrecker.

Whats wrong with the one you have? If its just cracked or something, they are aluminum, so it could possibly be fixed. Something like having a crack welded isn't very expensive.

 

i hit some thing & riped the slave off the bell

 

I'd say just go with a used one... shouldn't be expensive or hard to find.

 

I have a v6 bellhousing for an 84 firebird. I have the whole t5 if you need it.
