T5 counter shaft bearing race leak

noticed my T5 was dripping some fluid, pulled the trans thinking i goofed up when i istalled the new front seal, but it looks to be coming out from around the counter shaft bearing race. i take it this calls for complete dissassembly of the trans to reseal this? any input appreciated....

its an 88 WC T5

thanks,
mike

Look up posts by "sofakingdom".

Re: T5 counter shaft bearing race leak

found an overhaul manual for the T5 and it looks like theres an o-ring either in the case or right in front of the race itself.....
