Anything special about a 350 GTA tranny?
Hello all , just in the process of swapping my 305 TPI 88 iroc z convertable tranny (700r4 lost 3/4 ) with one from a 350 87 GTA , anything special about this tranny like corvette servo higher shift torqe converter ...ect .? Along time ago (in my ford days ) i swapped a ford converter to a different size motor , had different shifting RPMs. Just wondering if any difference between 305 and 350 GM trannys . THANKS

As far as i know they are the same..i have swapped many..the shift points etc are controlled by the trannny kick down cable..
